男主喜欢上餐馆新来的收银员，在她的帮助下逃过追杀后，深夜敲开她的门，问她愿不愿意和自己出去。
收银员：And you expect me to come out just like that?
男主：If I expected something, I wouldn't be standing here in the hall.
收银员：I don't even know you.
男主：You know me. I'm just like you.
然后收银员打开房门，让他进去了。
后续是：第二天起来后男主发现收银员不见了。他换好衣服出门后，在一条小巷里看到那个女人迎面朝他走来，他正迎上去的时候，女人却中枪倒地，当场死去了。是贴身保护男主的人杀了她，保护他的人掀开收银员的尸体，让男主看她手里握的枪，告诉他这个女人是黑帮头目派来的杀手，当收银员只为接近他。
如果他敲门时没被邻居发现，那个女人当晚就会杀了他。
